What We Build
Parade Rest Services started in roofing and grew into a full-service contractor, which means one licensed company and one project manager can carry a job from the roof deck down to the flooring. For a homeowner, that removes the part of remodeling that goes wrong most often: three trades blaming each other while your kitchen sits unfinished.
Roofing and Exteriors
Roofing is where we started and it is still the core of the business. We install asphalt shingle and standing seam metal roofing built for coastal wind, and handle roof leaks, flashing, skylights, attic ventilation, fascia and soffit, and seamless gutters. We also run full storm damage restoration and commercial flat roofing.
Remodeling and Additions
As a licensed NC General Contractor we can pull permits and manage every trade on kitchen and bathroom remodels, home additions, flooring, and broader construction and remodeling work. That licence matters more than most homeowners realise: in North Carolina, any project over $30,000 legally requires one.
Outdoor Living
We build decks, patios and porches, screened-in porches, sunrooms, outdoor living spaces, and sheds and fencing. Because we are also a roofing contractor, the roof tie-in on a porch or sunroom gets built to roofing standards rather than framing standards, which is where these structures usually start leaking a few years in.
Licensed, Bonded and Insured
This is the part worth checking on any contractor before you sign anything, including us.
What We Carry
We hold North Carolina General Contractor licence L.106119 (Building classification, active), general liability insurance, and workers' compensation coverage, and we are bonded. You can verify the licence yourself at the NC Licensing Board for General Contractors. Ask us for the insurance certificates and we will send them. Any contractor who hesitates when you ask that question has told you something important.
Why Workers' Comp Matters to You
If an uninsured worker is injured on your property, the liability can land on your homeowners policy. This is the single most expensive risk of hiring an unlicensed crew, and it is invisible until it happens.
Permits Are Part of Our Scope
We pull permits with Onslow County as standard: drawings, submission, inspections, and closeout documentation. Unpermitted work destroys resale value and can void a homeowners policy. If a bid comes in low because permits were left out, that is not a saving.
Financing and Grant Assistance
Most people do not put off a roof or a remodel because they do not want it. They put it off because of what it costs this month.
Project Financing
We offer project financing through multiple lending partners, including 0% intro APR same-as-cash plans and fixed-rate home improvement loans. Pre-qualification uses a soft credit pull, so checking your options does not affect your score, and most homeowners have a decision in about a minute.
Grants Most Contractors Never Mention
There is real money available in Onslow County that goes unclaimed every year. The NC FORTIFIED programme pays up to $10,000 toward a qualifying roof, and USDA and NCHFA programmes fund repairs for older and lower-income homeowners. We do not take a cut of anyone's grant, and our price does not change because grant money is involved. Ask any contractor that question directly.
